2. Visiting this website
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you open a page, the hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, the page requested, date and time, and browser information in server logs. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a working, secure website). Vercel processes this data on our behalf. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools. Fonts are served from this website's own domain, not loaded from third parties.
3. Contacting me by email
If you email me, I process your email address, name and whatever you write, to answer you and, if relevant, to prepare or carry out a business relationship. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps before or under a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (answering business enquiries). My email is provided by Google (Gmail). I delete enquiries when they are no longer needed, unless legal retention periods apply.
4. "Ask me anything": the AI assistant
The site offers an optional AI assistant, an AI version of me that answers questions by voice or text. It is provided by ElevenLabs (Eleven Labs Inc., USA). Nothing is loaded from ElevenLabs until you click the button. When you start a conversation, ElevenLabs processes your text or voice input, the transcript and technical data such as your IP address, to generate answers. The language model used to formulate answers is provided by Google as a sub-processor of ElevenLabs.
Legal basis: your consent by starting the conversation, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can stop at any time by closing the assistant. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Please don't share sensitive personal information in the chat. Conversation data is kept only as long as configured in the service and then deleted.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object (Art. 21 GDPR). Just email me.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. For me, that is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach.
6. No automated decisions
No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

Der KI-Assistent von ElevenLabs wird erst nach Klick geladen; die Verarbeitung erfolgt auf Grundlage Ihrer Einwilligung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO). Übermittlungen in die USA stützen sich auf das EU-US Data Privacy Framework bzw. Standardvertragsklauseln. Sie haben die Rechte aus Art. 15 bis 21 DSGVO und ein Beschwerderecht bei der zuständigen Aufsichtsbehörde (BayLDA).
